1995 Thailand - Songkran Day

This stamp is issued to commemorate Songkran Day 1995 (Thai New Year's Day in the past).

The design illustrates a woman riding on the pig's back encircled by 12 zodiac signs. The year 1995 is the year of the pig, the symbol of the 12th cyclical year.

1986 China - Year of the Tiger

Recently acquired the cover with the Chinese Lunar New Year stamp for year of Tiger in 1986. Although the cover is not the first day cover, but I find that this is an interesting cover.
